Is amazing!
While not my absolute favorite band, they're pretty high on my list.

I'm usually not this excited for album releases but unlike most of the other bands I really like, it feels like forever since they've released anything new.

October 18th, 2011 is the release date of the new album These Times.

** I do admit that I'm a bit skeptical of this list, especially considering they don't have the updated release date. They still have it listed as Nov 1, 2011 sooo....

But the reason I decided to make an entire post about them is to put all of the 'new' (not accurate according to Amazon) songs I find on youtube in 1 place.
And I'll list them in the order that I found them.

1) Get Around This
This is the official music video. And being the 1st single it was a released as a free download to the public for a limited time... unfortunately I think that time is up.

2) Let Go
Last I heard they were still in the process of making the music video for this song.

I read a rumor somewhere that this song was leaked (or performed at a live show) before "Get Around This" but was not chosen to be their first single.

From the looks of it this song has been around a while but since I found a performance within the last year I figured it'd be a relevant choice for the new album.

To respond to what some of you might be thinking... No I am not one of those obsessive fans, and I have an ipod full of other artists to prove it.
I'm just really curious to see how they'll follow up such a great 1st album.

The closest to 'obsessed' that I've gotten is with my favorite band, LIFEHOUSE. I'm all caught up on their albums and I have seen them in concert almost every time they've been in town. And this has gone on for... about as long as I've been able to afford attending concerts.

2011-2012 NBA Fantasy Basketball

Today's new fact about me, I like basketball.

It's one of my favorite sports.
It's fun to play and watch! Whether it's on the Wii, outside on the court or on the couch.
I'm sure it doesn't help that most of the guys in my family are absolutely obsessed but it's a nice way for us to hang out and/or bond.

Last night while we were celebrating my dad's birthday, 3 of my brothers decided that they wanted to set up a fantasy basketball league. Since I had no idea what that was I naturally thought, sure why not?! Sounds like fun, right? While that's still true it was a whole lot of work! Haha so here's to hoping they figure out all that lockout issue soon.

I'd post my brothers picks but I don't remember them off the top of my head.
But of course, mine are the best. Thanks to Google and my dad haha.
